Handmade 40s Style Dress

We aren’t sure when this dress was made, however the collar style leans towards the 70s.  The rest of the dress has a more 40s look.  The fabric is lightweight and feels like a wrinkle crepe polyester or rayon but a burn test was not done to determine that.  The flowers in the pattern have a slight shimmer to them and the brown you see in the photos is part of the pattern and not discolorations.  The collar could use a bit of adjusting or ironing into your preferred style.  It is shown in 3 different ways in the photos. There is a top button hole but no button, other than that there are no flaws.

📏Measurements are taken while garment is laying flat and then doubled.  Bust measurements are taken pit to pit, waist is generally at the narrowest part of garment or where natural waist would be, and hips are taken approximately 8” below waist measurement.  Additional measurements can be taken upon request.  We define Volup as a bust measurement that starts with a 4 and a waist measurement that starts with a 3.  Please note measurements are of the garment.  Your body measurements should be up to 1” smaller than the garment’s for ease of movement.  We recommend you compare this garment’s measurements to the measurements of something that fits you well.
