Teal & White Polka-dot Dress

How fun is this cotton day dress? Teal with white polka dots and cute round trim. It buttons all the way up the front left side (bottom one is missing) to the shoulder. It is difficult to date as it appears homemade with no labels. It has a 40s style to it but the interfacing on the button side is in a bit too good of condition   Other than a small seam separation, it’s in very good condition.
