50s Striped with Flowers Fit & Flare Dress

This is a fantastic Edith Flagg 50s fit and flare dress and it’s in very good condition! The skirt features wider pleats and looks great even without a petticoat. The stylishly cuffed elbow length sleeves  and short v neck with collar is very reminiscent of Christian Dior’s New Look collection.  The fabric has narrow black and white stripes giving the dress the appearance of being gray at a distance. It has variously colored flowers scattered throughout and on the front shoulders. Has a back zipper and belt which is cracked on the underside but presents beautifully and is completely functional. There is a small faint discoloration on the skirt that is very difficult to notice.  This dress also have a 5.5” hem allowance! Could easily be adjusted to be tea length for a shorter gal or accommodate a taller lady as well!
